I feel sorry for you having such hot weather! Try and keep cool.
I looked in my garden book where I keep track of the names of all my plants. I bought 2 roses at the same time, Peace and Queen Elizabeth. One died which I thought was the Peace rose. It's sort of a creamy yellow/peach color isn't it? So then the one in my blog today was Queen Elizabeth. It didn't have those markings on last year so maybe that one blossom was just a fluke. Whatever the reason, it sure is unusual.
Hope you get a break from the heat soon.
Hugs, Rhondi

Hellooooo My Sweet Miss Jean!!! What on earth is going on out there??? It's 52 degrees here in NJ and I'm freezing! Thank you SOOOOO much for all the wedding love -- you're such a sweetheart! You had such invaluable advice and I heard you whispering "slow down" in my ear all weekend. We were SO lucky not to have any disasters like you had with your son -- our disasters were just tiny by comparison. But in the end, the love wins out and they're married, no matter what goes wrong. Big hugs and kisses being sent your way -- along with wishes for some cooler weather!!!

Hi Miss Jean,
Yeah, and if the heat wasn't bad enough, how 'bout that wind? We had dozens of trees knocked down here in Stockton. Driving to work yesterday morning was like driving through a war zone. One neighbor had two trees fall on his house, but they didn't cause much damage, thank goodness. I'm glad it's over. What do you think will happen next - rain?
Hugs, Laura
