Calling all Bloggers

My daughter lost her beloved Jack Russell Terrier this past Friday evening. Memphis got out through a side gate by accident and has not been seen since. She's a sweet little adult lady, has short hair and the nights have gotten very cold. They live on a busy street and our worse fear is that she has been hit by a car. We've contacted the local animal shelter, put an ad in the local newspaper, put fliers around the neighborhood, called our local emergency veterinarian, contacted friends in the area and have driven the area numerous times.

Sadly she didn't have tags on her at the time and has not been micro-chipped or tattooed. Please remember to keep your dog and cat's collars on them with their tags at all times. Get them micro-chipped. It's an easy, inexpensive procedure. It could just help prevent the heartache that we are going through.

Please be in prayer that we can find Memphis soon and that she is well.

Thank you so much.

*UPDATE: It's been a week since Memphis went missing and she still hasn't been found. Keep this little dog in you prayers. We're hoping that someone out there found her and doesn't know yet where she belongs.

Of course I am saying a prayer...be at peace. It is in HIS hands and He will watch over this. Let us know when your pup is home safely. I don't doubt the power of prayer, so will wait for your happy ending. Hugs, Annie

Oh Miss Jean -- how very sad! Hopefully Memphis has been picked up by someone and will still make it home.

Miss Jean, I am so sorry to hear that your daughter and her family lost their dog. I lost mine a couple of weeks ago and I could not sleep all night I missed him so. I drove all around Escalon looking for him. I was blessed to find him the next morning sitting at my store by the back door. He some how found his way in the rain and crossing Hwy 120 2 miles from home. I have not let him out of my sight since. I will keep my eyes looking for your dog. Sandi from The Green Pea
