Getting Ready

In February my quilting group and I are going on a retreat for four days in the beautiful foothills near Sonora, California. We have limited space so we all get as much cutting and preparation work done ahead of time.

I've been working on getting my blocks ready for the Siggy Swap. I have 60 blocks to do before April 15th so I plan on finishing them up at retreat. The other day I'm happily sewing along....la, la, la. Then I notice - no bobbin thread for the last 20 blocks!!!!! Please, someone tell me I'm not the only one that does that!

These are my little friends who sit and watch me sew. I hope I didn't frighten them when I started screaming!

I don't sew...only because I swear like a sailor when I do!
I've made quilts, curtains, tablecloths, in my past...but my ears still sting from my tourette style outbursts!

Love the little gang who live in your sewing room. That almost looks like a little corgi far left of center! They are all, very cute!

Hahaha Miss Jean -- You're definitely NOT the only one who does that -- it drives me nuts!!! I'm so impressed you've started your blocks already -- I guess I should get going too!

I've done the "no thread" sewing trick before!!! I've only been sewing patches on my hubbys uniforms lately. I love the fabric you are using.
PS: I've been working on my Blog.
