Serenity

Do you have a favorite place to rest? Is it at your home? Do you walk to your favorite park and sit on a bench and watch the world go by? In the summer I love to sit outside on the chaise and read a book in the afternoon with a cup of tea. In the winter, I admit nothing is better than climbing into bed, turning on the electric blanket and reading or catching up on my television watching (I love the Bonnie Hunt show!)

One day I asked Sweety, "where's Maggie?" I went downstairs to look and lo and behold! She has found her favorite spot. It's an antique chair that I "inherited" from my sister. Maggie can sit there and watch the birds outside and then take a nap. What is it about the chair that she likes? I have no idea. Maybe it's the feel of the fabric. She doesn't get up on the other furniture in the living room. I do know for sure, though, that she doesn't know there is a cat watching over her!

Have a lovely and peaceful weekend!

Jean,
She looks so comfortable and secure in this spot. I believe she has claimed this chair to be her own. Perhaps you should start a "Comfortable spot day" for everyone to join in. Hugs, Mumzie, Conner & Buddy :)

Maggie looks so sweet there. I have a favorite chair in the evening. It has just enough room for Oliver to join me. We both look forward to that time of day.
