Patrick Swayze

Can you remember when Dirty Dancing came out in 1987? My daughter and I watched it over and over again. I still do. I love that film and what it stands for: unconditional love.

My heart is sad today.

Awww Miss Jean. What a sweet post. I was so sad when I heard that Patrick had cancer. How amazing he and his wife were to have a long marriage in Hollywood. Thanks for your post. ;-)

Such a sad day - my thoughts and prayers are with Lisa and the family.

The North and the South was the fist movie I watched starring Patrick and I fell in love the southern gentleman then. And then Dirty Dancing came along - WOWO!

'Dirty Dancing' is one of my favorite movies. It's right up there with 'The Notebook'and 'Pretty Woman.' I love that movie too and watch it over and over again. The news was very sad but I am glad his suffering is over. My heart and prayers go out to his family.

It is sad that he's gone now. I think I watched Dirty Dancing at least 100 times when I was young...one of my all time favorite movies!

Hope your week is going good!
