I love to wander the back yard to see what might be peeking around the corner. Spring annuals that are determined to break ground, so to speak, and bloom early. I love this particular shade of orange of the Iceland Poppy. Their petals are fine like crepe paper.
The man that mows my yard surprised me with this beautiful camellia for Christmas. It's a new variety called Buttermint. I can't wait to find just the perfect spot to plant it. Will it be in the ground? Will I find a pot to showcase it in?Although I can't do much in the yard just yet, I can plan - and dream.
What are you dreaming about these dreary days?

Love it! Happy gardening to you Miss Jean; and may the sun burn off this fog... we need some sunshine. :)
I'm dreaming of puppies!! I bet you are too - just a little bit.
Thanks for the great card and the gift card!! I'll be sure to use it on my next Starbucks trip.
Have a great day,
Lynn
Oh gosh -- those flowers are beautiful. We can't even dream of spring yet -- still too early and still snow on the ground!
Oh Jean I so wish it was gardening time but we have till the end of May to really get going here in Co.
How are you doing these days? Say hi to hubby for us!
We have food box day tomorrow- we got a deep freeze donated to us and Bill picked it up today so next month hopefully we will have some frozen meat to offer. We are having difficulty getting good inexpensive food for the poor which is so sad so having the freezer will be a big help as several individuals have meat to donate! Yippee Jesus!
