Clean Sweep

I recently lost my housekeeper which, to say the least, is devastating. I don't mind cleaning and I love my house to look nice but my back just doesn't cooperate. What to do!?! Hmmmmmm.......Maybe it's time for Maggie to start earning her keep.

First I tried to teach her to fold laundry.

"Just what is it you want me to do?"

Then I thought maybe she could help me out with the dusting.

"I think I'm too short, Mom!"

Next it was vacuuming. Let's not even go there. I think she had been talking to Ozzie over at Sister's Choice Quilts!

"What?"

I think I'll just call Merry Maids and leave it at that!

*For some reason my photos don't always enlarge (any suggestions?). If you look close at the picture of the vacuum you'll notice that there is a gap in the cord! This is not the way it's supposed to look!!!!! I guess it was my fault. Maggie was in a playful mood and I was ignoring her so she thought she'd get even. That is NOT a chew toy!!!

Very cute post! Just let it go -- my motto is "Life's too short to have a clean house." LOL.

How adorable! I got a kick out of it all right! Maggie doesn't want to work that hard, I think!

Oh my goodness gracious! Are you kidding me? She chewed the cord of your new PINK DYSON VACUUM? Naughty little lass!!! I think she is trying to tell you to put an apron on her! Jean, these are precious photos!!! Love the look on her face in each photo!!

What a fun start to my Friday morning to read this post! What a darling little Maggie is. Did she really chew through your vacuum cleaner cord????? Oops! Guess you better find a new cleaning lady. I would share mine with you but she would have to travel a bit far. :)

Happy weekend!

Those are the cutest pictures ever. I am sorry about your house keeper tho. Miss Maggie..oh my. Things have to be looking up tho, it's 9:00 and only 80 degrees! Yea! It's been a rough week with this horrible heat and smoke. If I had a job being a Merry Maid, I would have been shown the door this week. Nothing got done in my neck of the woods!

Hi there! My Mom and Sherry left this morning so I'm back at blogging again. Yippee!! (I miss them already though.)

I won't comment on each of your posts I've missed, but I enjoyed reading them all. Cute cute photos of sweet Maggie today. Gosh, I'm so behind in my blog reading. I must rush over now and find out what's going on with sweet Deena. I'll be sending up strong prayers tonight for sure.

Hugs!
Kat

(BTW...thanks so much for you very sweet comment tonight)

Hi Jean,

Okay, you are right. I was looking at how cute she was and missed the whole pink Dyson thing. Some wee lass is spunky! First off, I love the PINK vacuum! Oh the cord. Maggie, is going to keep you on your toes for sure.... I agree, call Merry Maids.

Oh, Maggie is so gorgeous. She doesn't look impressed with the idea of housework though.
