And a Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you! You know what they say! Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day. I'm actually partially of Irish descent. My Dad's Mum was a Kelly. This is one of my favorite holidays. It's all about fun and celebration with none of the work of the other holidays. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas and Easter. It just seems easy, especially for someone like me, to get mired down with the work and forget what the true meaning of the holiday is. At least on St. Patrick's Day I can get up, put on some good Irish Celtic music, fix a pan of corned beef and cabbage and enjoy myself. Slainte!!
My gift to you this St. Patrick's Day is the following Irish Blessing. Take the time to really "listen" to what it is saying to you.
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine down upon your face
May the rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of His hands.

Good Morning Miss Jean,
Thanks for the lovely Irish view and inspiring music.
Have a good day.
Hugs, Laura
Top 'O Tha Mornin' To Ya! Happy St. Paddy's Day, Auntie Jean!! We sure enjoyed you and Mr. S. yesterday! Doogie forgives you for holding the puppy. Infact, he was chasing them around the living room last night and running at least 40 laps around the coffee table. No kiddin'! I think he wore them out so they would not wake him up at 2 AM - thank God!
Love the Irish blessing and the music!
hugs,
Becky
PS: The Daffs are opened and look wonderful!
Hi again Miss Jean,
I forgot to tell you about my photos. I give all the credit to my camera an Olympus 550 Ultra Zoom. It's so smart! But one secret is: I carry my camera everywhere so it's always available when I see something nice. And I usually take photos of the same thing from three different angles then pick the one with best lighting.
Hugs, Laura
Oh, crap! Looks like my dear hubby forgot to close the gate AGAIN after feeding the sheep this morning. Thanks for letting me know.
